With your See Tasmania Smartvisit Card, you will receive a FREE Tour with the Battery Point Walk.
This 1 1/2 hour tour provides a wonderful introduction into one of Hobart's most historic suburbs - Battery Point. Beloved by all, Battery Point has unique charm, with small artisans' cottages as well as grand homes.
|
The area is most famous for Arthur's Circus, a nostalgic recreation of 'Olde England' created by Gov. Arthur in the 1830s. It also has delightful gardens, water vistas, infamous Shipwright's Arms (guests can purchase a beverage if they wish), and St. Georges Church. This dreaming old quarter is a delight to explore.
Battery Point Walk is just one of over 60 attractions that make up the sightseeing pass known as the See Tasmania Smartvisit Card. This smartcard allows you entry and special discounted offers to this attraction and many more. |
